Many of the children in my class have been diagnosed with Autism. I have had many children with Autism that have severe sensory needs. Some of my kids have a hard time sitting in a chair, focusing, and need to fidget with something. Some of kids refuse to do table work, and playing with sensory toys helps them to be able to sit at a table. We often set up sensory diets for some of my children to help them get their body ready to work/learn. These sensory toys often get broken, bit, squished, thrown, stepped on, and therefore don't last very long. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
