We are an innovative online charter school that believes in sparking the creativity and imaginations of all our students. Students who learn at home often do not have the ability to participate in hands on learning if they do not have the materials and supplies. We have worked very hard to provide our students with the learning materials they need. We have provided students with materials and ingredients and taught them how to bake international recipes. We have provided all of the materials for a full art program. We have even provided each student with a Lab Science kit and a microscope to facilitate hands on learning. We are missing the opportunity to put a musical instrument into their hands. Each student who participates in the ukulele program will have an instrument to use at home and receive instruction in how to play. They will also learn music theory as well as music appreciation. Students will have the opportunity to perform with their peers in Zoom recitals for their family and friends. With these ukuleles, we will be able to provided musical education for students who might not otherwise have access to this.
