To help my students obtain employment, they need to be ready - Job Ready! My class has worked on job and career exploration, work-based learning, post-secondary training, workplace readiness and self-advocacy. These young adults have practiced interviewing, filling out applications, cooking, cleaning, using computers and much more! They truly want to be as independent as possible before leaving high school. My students need much practice writing resumes, filling out job applications and various other forms. With the technology that I have in my class, I am currently not able to make the necessary corrections and give my students the immediate feedback that they require. Having a printer in my class will help me correct these forms and applications in a timely fashion and will ensure my student’s success.

About my class
