I would like to give my students a little extra encouragement and motivation, by using “desk pets” to keep with them. The students will each get to adopt a pet (a 3D eraser) and home/habitat (clear container) for his/her pet. While learning about ecosystems, students will also be able to provide for their pets the necessary resources they need to "survive". They will be able to earn points to add additional items such as food, plants, toys, etc., by completing work to the best of their ability, never giving up, showing good character. Our Hall Hawks pride themselves in applying and truly living by our 6 main Core Values of; trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. These kids have been through so much already this year and I want to continue providing them the most rewarding and fun learning environment I can.
