My hope is to create a, special, classroom environment where students are engaged learners while being given the opportunity to collaborate and problem solve freely around the room. I believe it is important for the students to feel a sense of comfort in the classroom, where learning is fun and success can be reached through collaboration, creativity and problem solving. In order to achieve this goal, I am asking for the donation of classroom furniture. We are in need of a child sized sofa/sectional, an area rug, and a bookshelf/display. These pieces of furniture would mean the world to me and my students and would be utilized for years to come. Reading is at the center of any education. The ability to read goes beyond the text and is the foundation of any successful individual. To develop a love for reading needs to happen at a young age. With your help, we can foster an area where kids can truly thrive.
