My students love having different options for seating in our classroom. Some students prefer to sit in chairs while others would prefer to sit on the floor or in an extra rolling chair we have in the classroom. Allowing students to choose how they will be sitting is really powerful and allows for more success in the classroom. Wobble seats will allow students who have trouble sitting still the opportunity to move without distracting the rest of the class. Some students also have trouble focusing while sitting in a traditional chair. The lap desks will give these student support while working on the floor. Students perform better when they are comfortable, so giving them the ability to choose comfort can improve classroom performance.
