It's a back-to-school season like no other after more than a year of virtual and hybrid learning in the pandemic era. It's mission critical that we welcome students back to in-person classes by focusing on their social and emotional needs first so they can thrive academically. I want to empower my amazing students by providing a classroom environment that offers a wide array of opportunities for students to readjust to in-person learning. A classroom stocked with games, art supplies, STEM resources, and engaging books will give them the tools they need to rebuild supportive relationships and self-confidence. This turbo-charged SEL approach will quickly get them on a path to success.
