Honestly, my district has given all of our students a laptop or tablet. We, teachers, were given one a few years back. My current laptop can not function without the power cord and the speaker does not work. I can barely make it through a class, let alone a full bodied lesson. My district is unable to replace it right now due to dealing with the hundreds of students and their devices being broken or missing pieces. I just need to get a laptop for instructional purposes. Below, you will find why my students will benefit from the resource I requested. These materials will make a difference in my room because I will be able to actually make it through a full virtual math lesson. The learning outcome will vary from TEK to TEK but by the end of the year, they will know Pythagorean Theorem, Linear Relationships, Ordering Real Numbers, Surface Area and Volume of 3D figures, transformations of 2D figures on a Coordinate Plane (Rotate, Translate, Dilate and Reflect), Solving Equations and much more. They will learn this all virtually.
