All of my students have a passion for science and they deserve to have the best learning environment. Our students are from a very small town in a highly rural area so money and resources are not something that we have readily available. Most of our teachers have the heart for teaching and we buy a lot of our own classroom supplies. Oftentimes, our teachers have to borrow resources from outside sources, such as from the Teachers-Pay-Teachers website. The goal for using the Teachers-Pay-Teachers website is that teachers can enhance or add to the curriculum with resources that they find on the website that helps bring the students' understanding and enthusiasm for learning to a higher level. Teachers use their imaginations, pick the brains of other teachers, and search the web for inspiration so that we can entice and inspire our students to want to learn. My students love science, but alas we do not have the proper science tools at our disposal the way that surrounding area schools do. I would love to give my students the best science experiences with proper tools such as microscopes because they deserve to experience all of science and not just a small piece of it. They would be highly excited to have any microscopes to be able to investigate the world around us!
