I hope to be able to setup a small coral tank in the classroom for the students to explore, a tank will not only help create a calming environment in the school. It will also serve as a centerpiece for all science classes at every grade in the school. The tank will be used as a visual component for several expansive lessons on ecology, the water cycle, biology and conservation. Combining the tank and a variety of shrimp and plants as well as the coral will allow science teachers at my school as well as myself to demonstrate a marine environment and the cycles it goes through, throughout the school year, I am very excited to have t students from every grade level in my school be able to experience the tank as well.
