Reading and writing are two fundamental subjects to support my EL students' learning. By having the necessary and basic materials such as pencils, markers and paper, they will put writing into practice. Games and word cards will keep them engaged during reading and writing lessons. The writing center will be one of the most fun/hands-on tool! With it, the students will be able to create, write, blend and spell sight words in order to be ready for reading. The Biography Books will be used by my higher level students. Students will focus on reading the books and will be able to do writing projects, as well as illustrations, with the materials that I am requesting. With your help, my students will feel comfortable and welcomed in the place where they will spend hours, days and months to learn. This is why it is important for our classroom to look fun.
