Block printing is a step by step process. Learning to listen and follow instructions is important to getting a perfect print. My students will become experts with hand/eye coordination. This type of art will improve their thinking, listening, collaborating, social, motor, creativity and having fun skills. Positive and negative shapes will be something they create and observe. It's a fun way to do art and the outcome is beautiful. All of the supplies listed will be used year after year except for the ink that will need to be replaced. Having the needed supplies for block printing will greatly be appreciated and will truly make my student's art expand to a higher level.
