Virtual teaching and learning has been a challenge over the last year. Due to the pandemic, a lot of things teachers need to teach have not been provided to us and at the end of the day the ones that suffer the most are our students. The demand to keep up with technology and keeping the standards of teaching and learning at a high level has been a really hard challenge. As a health teacher, I refuse to let a pandemic keep me and my kids down. With this new technology I will be able to come up with new ways of reaching out them virtually. I will be able to create new health and fitness videos and creative visuals. My students have lost their athletic fields at the school due to a building project. They are now at home due to the pandemic with no outlet to exercise outside of PE class. Now that we are virtual, their teacher (me) doesn't have the proper technology to provide virtual classwork, exercise ideas, health lessons/idea. Going on two years I haven't received my funding needed to better their learning and my teaching. My students are 77% economically disadvantage but their spirits/future are 100% awesome and bright. Please help!!!
