The projects for the knowledge assessment in Algebra 2 topics are designed for both online or in person. The projects range in topics from arcade games, carbon footprint, anesthesiologist to solving crimes using clues. The project would take one, two, or three class periods which allows for thought processing and reviewing previous learning. Creativity and knowledge are observed as a student is completing a project instead of a Q&A assessment. We provide the opportunity for revisions as part of our instruction style. We don't believe learning is a "right" answer only. Explanation of a process is just as or more important as the end solution. The gift cards will cover the cost for all of the Algebra 2 projects. You can see the students slump when they see a test vs. a project. Help my students smile even when they are completing an assessment.
