We will be able to increase our language abilities by using magnetic letters to build words and practice blending sounds. We will use the science materials to not only learn about the world around us, but to practice describing and explaining things. First graders are especially interested in insects and plants. The emotions activity will not only help our speaking and listening skills, but will assist us in writing more details in our narratives! The cabinet will help the teacher have a secure place to store assessments, and private student information out of reach.
