Books help in such amazing ways. I'll be able to use books to enhance vocabulary, sequencing, describing, articulation, etc.! These books (and the storage tote) ensure that I help my students by utilizing resources that are fun, engaging, and creative. These books target different themes (diversity, holidays, etc.) as well as different articulation sounds. Story mapping, describing, increasing a child's vocabulary (think antonyms and synonyms, descriptive words, word associations, etc.) are all worked on through reading books! This will also help increase my students' imagery skills as I believe this is always a good thing to work on.
