My students learn in a wide variety of ways. They all have individual learning styles and needs that require different tools. I work with a vast range of diagnosis. My class is composed of students with SLI, Autism, Down Syndrome, and OHI. Most of my students struggle with OT skills as well as language skills. I have selected many items that will help build on those skills in a variety of ways so we can reach each learning style :) This includes different pencil grasps and short pencils that help beginning writers. A variety of beginner readers and different hands on puzzles to help students practice different skills they will be introduced to in their education. Teacher pay teacher is a wonderful resource full of teacher made resources including boom cards and many resources to help build their fine motor skills. We build the foundations of learning here that they build on for the rest of their educational career.
