My 6th grade students are active, both mentally and physically. I would love to create a classroom environment for them that is both engaging and comfortable. Middle School students need movement to help them learn best. Flexible seating helps to provide this. Right now, our middle school students are spending more time on their computers than ever before. With access to a stand-up desk, students can move and stretch while they are in class. Standing can also help improve mood, increase energy, and support productivity. Standing allows students to stay alert while increasing their ability to focus. Thank you for considering a donation to my project and our classroom!
