We are going back to school in Hybrid learning mode. This creates a challenge for students and teachers because we've never learned/taught this way before. Half the students will be in class and the other half will be at home remote learning. A second monitor will be a game changer and a tremendous help as it will allow me to be able to see all my students on one screen, while being able to see curriculum on the other screen. Students will benefit because I will be able to give them individualized attention. This is especially helpful for my Special Education population and English Language Learners because they have unique needs. When students know that I can see the entire class at one time on the second screen, they are more likely to stay engaged, have their camera on, participate more, and be more motivated which as an outcome will lead to academic success for more students.
