In our classroom, we are constantly making goals for our reading and writing. My students either meet with me one-on-one or they write their goals on a program that we use called "Seesaw". I would like to take their goal setting to the next level by creating a digital portfolio for my students. With the aid of the headphones, my students will be able to record their goals without sound interference from other students and with a better quality of sound--making their goals clear. In addition to goal setting, my students are working on their reading fluency in order to not sound like a robot when they are reading. Allowing my students to hear themselves read at a clear level will help them to identify target areas in their own reading and create a sense of autonomy within their reading development. By donating to our project, you will not only help improve the sound quality of my students goal setting conference, but as well as improve their ability to recognize what they need support on and become owners of their learning.
