The digital cameras I am requesting will help me expose my students to what is happening in their environment. Photography will allow my students to exercise their visual muscles by observing details all around them. This skill will give my students an awareness of the world around them. There is also a multi-disciplinary component to photography. The science of light and the math of exposure will help show how student can apply content area concepts. Once my students understand the mechanics of how a camera operates, then they will have the artistic freedom to find their visual voice.

About my class
