My students have never had nice instruments at their school. Some of them have never seen instruments before because their families don't play them. Just recently we have been able to use computer software to create music, I believe learning to play a real instrument is an amazing experience. With these drums these students will not only learn how to play, but they will enhance their fine motor skills, listening skills and working as a team. Not only will I want to use them in music I will use them with my reading intervention classes to teach syllables and reading fluency.
