The materials which have been selected will be used to build a bookshelf for our classroom aquaponics fish tank, along with birdhouses later on. This in-class project will help the students understand measurements along with angles and math. They will learn how to read a tape measure, how to develop a plan/blueprint for the object they are preparing to build, along with working together, as a team, to figure the best way to complete the project. This will provide an opportunity for the students to be introduced to hands-on experience in construction.

About my class
