Funding this grant will provide incentives for students entering Kindergarten. Students will either be transitioning from a preschool, daycare, or even a home setting. These materials will help to get the students excited about entering Kindergarten, which will be a new stepping stone in their lives. The materials that will go home with the students at registration and will allow the parents to be able to sit down with students and work on activities, read a book together and spend quality time with each other because some students do not have these materials at home.
