At our school, we have implemented the SEL program for social and emotional teaching. To help pave this path, and set students up for success, we are have created a token economy. Each teacher has Blazer Bucks they can hand out when they see a student implementing one of the 10 principal ideas. Students can then exchange their currency for an extra recess on Fridays, or enter into a raffle drawing to win some AWESOME PRIZES! This is where our donors can help! We are in need of some cool raffle prizes! To promote school pride, we are looking to purchase STEM projects, diverse books, art materials, creation kits, technology such as headphones and mice, and also games for families. These items take school its homes and allow students to keep learning.
