Important COVID safety regulations have limited students' access to physical books in the classroom and at home. There is nothing quite like getting our eyes offscreen and deep into a picture book. And there is nothing like experiencing books to help young students strengthen their literacy skills and their love of reading. These books will go directly into students' individual book bags, whether they are learning in person or at home. Students will not be able to browse through books in the classroom library, so book bag collections will be disinfected and rotated every few days. Each student will have the opportunity to enjoy a range of books for independent reading.
