Our students are in an MD environment. They are in need of headphones. The majority of our students are not able to afford headsets. When they are in the classroom, it can be chaotic and at times, frenzied. Headphones allow the person to hear what is being said and at the same time block out some of the background sounds of other students in class. Use of headsets can help the students to engage with material read within their own environment. Students can block out their environment and can easily engage in what is being presented.
