My students are in special day classes and resource-supported classes. Many of my students are students of color. Many of them have hyphenated last names that include both their mothers and fathers last name. Many of them speak Spanish at home. Other students speak Mandarn or Korean at home. 49 percent of my students receive free or reduced lunches. My students are learning to regulate their bodies to stay calm and have appropriate social and functional communication skills. Working with my students day in and day out is a dream come true.
