I am a high school art teacher. During the synchronous and asynchronous time, I demonstrate in real-time how to use and practice applying technical drawing skills for students to draw everyday objects. The confidence students gain, by learning that drawing is not an innate talent is priceless. My district is currently still online but intends to return to in-person when guidlines allow. These students speak multiple languages, but when they come to Art we all speak visual arts and it is truly amazing. Multi-tasking between whiteboards, paper, and using one screen, has been trying. My students and I have been doing it for almost 9 months now. I would do anything to help my students learn. Another monitor would be amazing. I just know how much it would assist me in my demonstrating in real-time, which is the way my students learn best. Thank you for your consideration. Myself and my students are grateful for the opportunity.
