When learning math in coding, my students often ask, "When are we going to use this?" The articles in the Scholastic Math Magazine do just that by presenting current and relevant articles, at grade-level, while highlighting where math skills are important in the real-world. We will integrate reading these articles into our weekly lessons and discuss, maybe even debate, some of the issues in the articles. By donating to this project, you will help students appreciate their education and connect their education to real-life. Your donation will allow for students to increase their English-language proficiency and improve their reading and communication skills!
