Learning another language should be fun and interactive! While I can use interactive online tools to have students practice their vocabulary words or work on assignments, having a whiteboard facilitates the spontaneous forms of teaching. A whiteboard will allow me to demonstrate writing vocabulary and grammar without having to stop the presentation to do so. There are no limits to what a whiteboard can do for teachers and students! We have them in the classroom and use them all the time. Having a whiteboard in my distance learning classroom will help me display student work, announcements, headlines, messages for my students and of course, the lesson for the day.
