Help my students become better readers and writers by providing supplies to help us make their own packets and books. In addition, having an outdoor game to play after we complete our books as an incentive to complete books. Using long book staplers, electric staplers, along with other supplies like hole punches, and colorful pens can help them construct their little books. Having the outdoor game as a reward for students who complete the books and having a competition among them builds life skills. We can be mobile and move about the campus for inspiration by using the carts to carry our supplies. They can use stories from the books as inspiration for writing about social and emotional themes. My little authors can then be rewarded with games and items for our treasure box and for the outdoor game competition.
