Flexible seating will be used everyday in my classroom. Students will be welcomed into the day with a choice on where to sit. Students learn differently and providing different ways of sitting will promote progression. They will no longer all by sitting at tables. They will sit all over the classroom with a clip board. If they want to sit on the couch, they will bring a clip board over to the couch and learn from there. If they want to sit on a bean bag chair they will learn from there. Everyday they can pick a new spot to learn from. My goal is to have every student feel welcomed and comfortable throughout the day.
