Students who have access to the right technology are more likely to succeed in college! If every student has access to a TI-84+ graphing calculator starting as a freshmen they have many years to learn and use the tool! If they can become efficient with their calculators, they will also be more efficient and successful in their High School courses, ACT, and College courses! I want all students to have access to the same terrific technology that is used in the math professions! I will be able to have higher expectations of their learning if every child has the same technology! I will also create more lessons focused on using it as a teaching tool! I have been taking a lot of classes through Texas Instruments, and would love to be able to implement more lessons and explorations on the calculators!
