Having a printer in the classroom will benefit my students in multiple ways. When they are working on their writing, I want to help them feel proud of their work. If they can add illustrations such as borders to their work, their final drafts will be making a larger impact on their self-confidence. I use projects frequently in my lesson plans. Last school year, the students created their own books. They wrote out the words and did the illustrations with crayons. However, if we had a printer, they could create their books online and print off more professional-looking products.
