I have a group of students who have never been to school. Their first experience at school did not revolve around being able to play with new friends or touch books because we don't have class sets. Their first impression of the school is that they have assigned seats and they can't share or sit next to friends. Yet every day they come excited to school ready to learn with whatever I have. I would like to have more activities for my students to expand their learning while we are in centers.
