Being a first year teacher in a Montessori classroom it is important to have materials that students are able to pull off shelves to practice and master. I am slowly building up materials in my classroom, but one area which is lacking are my Science shelves. These activity bins will allow my classroom of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders to practice various science topics in a hands on, self-directed way. I am hopeful that these science bins will bring curiosity and creativeness into the classroom in a collaborative way that's inclusive of my multi grade classroom.
