I selected materials that my students are using in our classroom every single day including everything from pencils to water and snacks. These are things that either me or my school are replenishing frequently. My students are self-contained in my classroom for every subject. Having the supplies they need is a big priority to me. I also wanted to give my students more access to books that were appropriate to them. This is my first year teaching, so I want to grow my classroom library as much as possible to provide a diverse group of books to my students.
