It has made a huge impact on our learning, not just limited to our writing but our math, as well. These tools help create an engaging and organized environment where students can take ownership with their writing.\r\n\r\nThe post-it notes allow them to brainstorm, share feedback, and marking important pages. It helps check for understanding after our reading lessons, as well. It also helps them with their writing process and how to make their writing better. \r\n\r\nThe students were extremely excited to see the materials and were shocked there were people in the world that wanted them to provide them with the tools they need. The number of times my students say \"it's always so calm in here.\" Or ask, \"Ms. Hardeman, can I go with you, please?\" is partly attributed to the comfort of our shared space. The rug is a fan fave and the lamp has added an extra bit of cool to our reading area. The baskets that I ordered due to some items not being available added the perfect tool for organizing my reading groups. \r\n\r\nWhen I create lists, it's student driven to continue building on what works for us, rather than making big changes or additions to what has become our comfort in the school.
