These snacks will help to ensure that students are not going home hungry. It will also help to make sure that they have the energy needed to stay focused and energized throughout the day so that they are able to learn to the best of their ability. My students are hungry for engaging, relevant, interactive opportunities to connect with content that has real-life application and purpose. Having a full tummy will allow my students to work to their full potential. We are facing a time when a lot is up in the air due to difficult times in the community as well as living through COVID-19 and I want to ensure that hungry stomachs are not an issue for my students.
