This project is going to make a difference for my students by connecting them to other students around the country. I have connections for my students to learn more about other students in other parts of the country and eventually the world to teach them how to understand other cultures, races, and peoples. My students are very protected from learning about other people and cultures. In some cases, students here may never leave the reservation and have not been exposed to other ideas, cultures, and people. This opportunity would increase their literacy abilities, connect them to learning through technology, and motivate them to continue to grow and become a future leader for their community.
