During this uncertain time it is important that students have access to all the supports they need. These items will help me, their guidance counselor, give them the access to social-emotional support more reliably than I am able to at this time. Only having a laptop makes it difficult to monitor students while I am teaching my curriculum. At times students are not getting to participate due to this issue. Having the second monitor will allow me to be able to see all students that I am working with while teaching. This will also be useful when back in the school building with a hybrid schedule as I will most likely be continuing virtual teaching to reduce the number of people within our school building.

About my class
