Hosting Zoom meetings, updating gradebooks, accounting for attendance within the state's guidelines, filling in mentor logs, answering emails, running a learning management system, maintaining a student friendly class website, grading assignments, and planning lessons are just a handful of the jobs teachers are doing this year to provide the best learning experience possible for students during the pandemic. Most of these tasks need to be done simultaneously for over a hundred students. And, all from a single computer screen. Having two computer screens allows for more tasks to be accomplished with shorter response times to meet the needs of students. When issues can be addressed in real time, it is more likely that a student will continue to move forward and have a successful learning experience.
