We have been all virtual up until now and are preparing to move to a hybrid model with some face-to-face and some virtual instruction each week. Because of all the awesome technology we have been utilizing to deliver engaging, rigorous, content lessons, we could really use a 2nd classroom computer monitor to make our lessons run more smoothly. There are so many wonderful online programs to use in lesson instruction, but they can be difficult to manage on one, small computer screen while also having a virtual Google Meet/Zoom session open. For example, students will often be presented with digital content via Google Slides lesson presentations with guidance from the teacher. It is difficult to see the lesson content on the Google Slides as well as have the Google Meet running on the same monitor. A second computer monitor will ensure that students are better equipped to receive engaging digital instructional content as opposed to just paper/pencil and/or whiteboard work because the second monitor allows for the Google Meet and the Google Slides lessons to be utilized at the same time. A second computer monitor definitely makes our teacher's job that much easier, and nobody wants a frazzled 2nd grade teacher!
