I have requested a monitor and wireless mouse because these resources will help me support my students during remote learning. My students are learning virtually on Zoom due to the pandemic, rather than in their real classroom. Students' learning has changed to virtual and as teachers and students, we all need to adapt to this new type of "school". A second monitor will allow me to better see my students' faces virtually and will allow me to build a better, safe, loving, and caring virtual classroom. The additional monitor will allow me to build a social and emotional learning environment where student are able to better see me. The second monitor will also allow our class to experience a better learning environment! A second monitor will allow PowerPoint presentations and other resources to be presented to my students more efficiently and effectively.
