In this time of remote learning and digital curriculums, all materials and instruction is done on devices. Most of my students are remote and thus must work through the challenges of on-line instruction. Communicating everything through a single monitor is extremely challenging. I am requesting a second monitor. Students and teachers need to make and keep visual contact to ensure their success. That can't occur while managing curriculum, notes and instructional platform all on one computer screen. Having a second computer monitor will allow me to maintain a constant visual connection with my students while delivering my lessons. While I can't physically be with them, at least I'll be able to see if my students are understanding the material and seeing me may help build thier confidence.
