My need is a second monitor to help me interact with my virtual students. I have found it hard to monitor students in a virtual setting when all I have is a small screen that is sharing the workspace with several other tasks. A bigger work space will enable me to see, share, and produce engaging activities that will help engage my students. Being able to see my students will help me to know who is and who is not getting the content. It will let me see who needs that email or message of encouragement.
