An additional computer screen with make it easier for my Kindergartener's to interact with me during LIVE meets! Having a second screen will allow my students to respond to instruction while I am sharing my screen with them! Currently, when I share materials virtually, I cannot see my students unless I have another computer (or two) running. This limits our discourse, as students cannot be seen raising their hands to speak. Being able to see my students allows us to interact more effectively, providing more opportunities to respond and participate during our lessons. This interaction allows discourse to take place within the class. Discourse is vital in order to reach a deeper understanding of what is being taught. A standing desk would provide more movement to be incorporated into our learning. Movement is needed with Kindergarten! Music and movement create more connections with learning!
