Dramatic play is an integral part of a child’s social, emotional and cognitive development. Dramatic play teaches self-regulation, gives children an emotional outlet, teaches conflict resolution, allows you to support your kids and encourage their ideas, and supports literacy. The dramatic play area in my classroom needs some improvement. I will be using the materials to make this area better for my students. We need a new kitchen set, a new table and chairs, and a cleaning set. We also need a bigger variety of dress up clothes. Any donations will be greatly appreciated!
