So why ukuleles? There are innumerable studies out there that show how magical music is for people’s physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. Learning to play a musical instrument, like ukulele, helps students develop coordination and problem-solving skills. Plus, learning to play ukulele is a blast! Its easy to learn, light-weight to carry and the perfect size for elementary students. Even in the first class, students can learn to play real music and start expressing themselves with the music they can create. With your help, we can continue to offer amazing musical experiences for our students through playing the ukulele. This year, it is essential to be able to make sure that every student per class is able to have their own instrument, and that those instruments can be properly cleaned and maintained. The ukuleles we would be able to purchase with your support are made out of high quality ABS plastic, and not only would be able to be sanitized properly, but will also be durable enough to give us many, many years of great music. Without a strong community supporting our kids and their learning, this experience wouldn't be possible. Thank you for all of your help and support!
